Where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding will take place in Perast, Montenegro, located on the stunning Kotor Bay, at the Heritage Grand Perast.

What is the closest airport?

The airport we recommend flying into is Dubrovnik, Croatia (DBV). From Dubrovnik, guests will drive across the border into Montenegro and continue on to Perast.

Do I need a passport or visa?

A valid passport is required for travel. At this time, U.S. passport holders do not need a visa to enter Montenegro or Croatia for short stays. Visa requirements can change, so we recommend checking the most up-to-date travel information prior to booking.

How far is the venue from the airport?

The drive from Dubrovnik Airport to Perast is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, depending on traffic and border crossing times.

When should I arrive and depart?

To attend all wedding events, we recommend arriving by September 24th. The rehearsal dinner will take place on the evening of September 25th. Our room blocks are reserved for the nights of September 25th and 26th, but you are more than welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer to enjoy Montenegro at your leisure.

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes. We have reserved a room block at the Heritage Grand Perast for thee 25th and 26th. We would absolutely love for our guests to stay together in one place and make the most of the wedding weekend.

How do I book within the room block?

To book within our room block, please fill out the accommodation form located under the “Things To Do” tab on our website. Once you submit the form, our wedding planner, Kate, will follow up with you directly. This ensures your reservation is included in our room block and that all communication goes smoothly through our planner.

What dates are included in the room block?

The room block includes the nights of September 25th and September 26th, which correspond with our rehearsal dinner and wedding day.

Can I stay additional nights?

Absolutely! We would love for you to stay longer and enjoy Montenegro. Please note any additional nights you’d like to stay in the accommodation form, and our planner will assist with availability.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Dress Code: Formal Floor-length gowns for women and polished suits for men. We encourage guests to embrace color and individuality, taking inspiration from the setting and the spirit of celebration. Think elegant and festive, an outfit that feels special and worthy of the occasion!

Will the ceremony or reception be outdoors?

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. Late September weather in Perast is typically in the 70s during the day, with evenings cooling into the 50s–60s. We recommend bringing a light shawl or wrap for the evening.

What is the dress code for the rehearsal dinner?

The rehearsal dinner dress code is cocktail attire. Short dresses are perfect for women, and for men, suits or a button-down shirt with a sport coat are great options. We encourage everyone to have fun with their look: festive, colorful, elegant, and celebratory.

Is the wedding adults-only?

This will not be an adults-only wedding because this is an international celebration, we understand that travel plans vary, please feel free to bring your children if that works best for your family. We kindly ask that you note this when RSVPing.

When should I book travel?

We recommend booking travel as soon as possible to secure the best availability and pricing, especially since this is an international destination.
