Nicole and Denis met in January 2024 through a modern introduction, at a moment when their lives were unfolding in very different ways. Laughter came easily, conversation felt effortless, and by the end of the night it was clear there was something rare in the ease they shared.

Knowing Nicole would be returning to school the next day, they decided to see each other once more. Denis told her he would pick her up and that the evening would be a surprise. It unfolded with a drink at Quince, a movie at the Coyote Drive-In, and a long conversation by the fire at the Drover. That night felt quietly certain, the kind of moment that settles in your heart before you even realize it.

Long distance shaped much of their early relationship. With eight hours between them, time together was intentional and deeply valued. In the summer of 2025, Denis joined Nicole and her family in Europe. Paris, a city Nicole had long loved, became the setting for their next chapter. During a candlelit dinner overlooking the Eiffel Tower, Denis invited Nicole onto the balcony, where champagne waited and the city shimmered below.
